API integration approaches
DG AutoCheck offers two integration approaches.
- Option 1: Light integration/NOTOC integration approach: This relies on a user logging into DG AutoCheck and performing an acceptance check, and the at the end of the acceptance check, the data is transferred to the integrating system using APIs.
- Option 2: Full integration/API Integrator approach: This relies on the integrating system fully driving the integration. The integrating system owns and runs the whole DG Acceptance check process.
Quick Comparison
Light integration approach
- Starts with user logging into DG AutoCheck
- User is taken to DGD Library
- User uploads the DGD
- User performs the acceptance check
- User signs off the acceptance check
- DG/Acceptance check data is transferred via API to integrating system
- User returns to the DG AutoCheck Library for next check
API Integrator approach
- Starts with user logging into the integrating system
- User initiates DG Check in the integrating system, for example by clicking on the AWB number
- DG AutoCheck window is opened (no user login needed)
- User performs the acceptance check
- User signs off the acceptance check
- DG/Acceptance check data is transferred via API to the integrating system
- DG AutoCheck window is closed and User is returned to the integrating system
