Q1. I am doing an acceptance check during 1 Jan 2025 at 00:00 UTC, what happens to my check – will the new rules be applied automatically?

A1:   Depends on when you start the check: 

  • If you start the check before 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC, the 65th edition rules will apply. 
  • If you start a new check on or after 1 Jan 2025 at 00:00 UTC, the 66th edition rules will apply.


Q2. I complete the documentation check before 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC and start packaging check after 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC, which rules will apply for my packaging check?

A2:66th edition rules will apply.  


Q3: I started the documentation check before 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC, but I want to apply the 66th edition rules to the documentation check?

A3: Reset the documentation check after 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC.


Q4: Should I expect to see any alert or notification message after the switch is made to the 66th edition? 

A4: No. The switch will happen automatically and seamlessly in the background (you will hardly notice).


Q5: How can I verify that my subscription is using the 66th edition rules?

 A5: Click on the hamburger menu (top left corner ) and you will see DGR 66th edition.


Q6: Do I need to log out and login back to my subscription after 1 Jan 2025 at 00:00 UTC to apply the new 66th edition changes?

A6: No. The switch will happen automatically.


Q7: Do I need to re-start my computer to apply the new 66th edition changes?

A7: No.


Q8. If I have created custom checklist questions, will those be impacted by the switch?

A8: No.


Q9: I upload some DGDs before 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC, but I start acceptance check after 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC which rules will be used?

A9: 66th edition.


Q12: Can I manually choose to apply the new rules for an acceptance check before 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC? (for testing the results, for example)

A10: No, the switch is done automatically at 00:00 UTC on 1 January 2025.

Q1: If I use my current app after 1 Jan 2025 00:00 UTC will the app automatically use the 66th edition rules?

A1: Yes.

A7: 66th edition rules will be used.
